Course Description:
The Photoelectrical Measuring&Testing Technology is a course for the students of Optical Information Science and Engineering. It focuses on the engineering application of technology, teaching the theory and composition of photoelectric detection system. According to the coherence of light source, the incoherent light source, coherent light source, broadband low coherent light source and other common light source were clarified taught. The theory, characteristic and application about photoelectric detector, photoelectric imaging device, thermo-electric device, and light modulation device were given. For the performance comparison of various photon detectors, the selection principle of photonic devices was summed up. After establishing the technology requirements of the photoelectric detection circuit, the design method of the input circuit about photomultiplier, photoresistor, photocell, and photodiode were taught. Furthermore, the low light detection technology, the frequency and noise characteristics of the input circuit and other important design parameters were detailed analyzed. Surveying the typical optical test system, combined with a laser range finder, laser interferometer, laser confocal microscopy and some other instrument, let the students form a complete cognition for photoelectric detection
